DetroitHockey.Net is always looking for fans interested in helping us cover Red Wings and NHL news as it happens.

Unfortunately, as we are a fan-operated site, we cannot pay our staff members. All DH.N staff are volunteers or interns. We hope to some day be able to compensate our staff for the hard work they do but right now it just can't be done.

Currently the following positions are open:

Game Recap Writer

DetroitHockey.Net's recap writers are expected to work in a timely manner with little editorial supervision. Each Red Wings game will be assigned to one of our recap writers, who will be expected to write a professional, mostly unbiased review. We work around our writers' respective schedules to make sure that DH.N doesn't cause any conflicts. No one has to recap a game they don't want to, we just ask for advance notice if you can't work on a game that you were scheduled for. Week-in-Review Columnist

DetroitHockey.Net is looking for a writer to do a weekly review of events surrounding the Red Wings. This position could be filled by a recap writer or split between several writers. Each column would be less about the individual games played that week and more about the events of the week as whole and how they fit into the rest of the season. As this would be in column format, there would be more room for writer opinions. This position will only be available if enough recap writers are in place to cover the season.
